It's April 2020. The world has changed. Our daily lives have changed. Our plans have changed. Wherever you are, there's a good chance that it's time to scrap whatever todo lists or plans you had on your calendar before today. I know for me, my focus is limited, and my big sized concepts are too big for me to consider right now. So today, on this first day of April, I'm working on making a new plan to get me through the next 30 days. I can focus on 30 days, one day at a time. I want to find reasonable art making goals that are clearly (for me) defined and broken into manageable daily (4 days a week - I need a little space on the "weekend") and weekly (to do on the 5th day of the week) tasks. Also, something that will provide a finished overall project that I can look back on and say, YES, I made that in April 2020. When my life changed. When the world changed. I made that. It holds my worries, my thoughts, my ideas, the world as I knew it for those 30 days.

And in this uncertain time, I feel very fortunate I have this opportunity. I know this is a luxury, not afforded to many. Everyone's circumstances are different, but if you can, let me encourage you to open that planner back up. Make a list. Start today and make April 2020 a month you can remember for something positive. Something beautiful. I have a feeling we'll need to support each other with all the beauty and love we can get in the months thereafter.

Wishing you all some peace in the midst of the chaos.
